Lee's Seven Days Campaign (1862) - Battle of Glendale, (June 30th, 1862)

Author: [HWK]Stone; General Lee's assertive attempt to both push McClellan's army away from Richmond and also inflict massive casulaites was only partially succesful. Like many a brilliant leader before him in the history of warfare, Lee was let down by the failure of his sub-commnaders to carry out their integral portions of the master plan. The Confederate divisions (Red) are on the attack in this map.

Lee's Maryland Campaign - Battle of Antietam, North 5:30am (September 17, 1862)

Author: [HWK]Stone; This is Stone's first contribution to the Hawks' collection and has all the hallmarks of being a classic map. Featured are the farms, forests and roads north of Sharpsburg over which this engagement unfolded to mark one of the bloodiest days of the war. The Union forces (blue) under Hooker are attacking in this northern area of the battlefield and are met by Confederate forces (red) under Jackson. This is a recreation of only a portion of the historical engagement so game forces represent those present at this place and time. Both sides have a map objective.
