Welcome to the Hawks Online Gaming Club

We Hawks are a unique group of strategy game players, dedicated to re-creating and fighting on-line historical battles. We have researched and created a vast collection of maps from many different periods based on the games that we play at the time. All our battle maps are free to download from our site and can be found in the various game sections.

Our club has its beginnings in "Cossacks; The Art of War" (AOW) when we started making scores of quality, well researched maps to play with this game. The tradition has continued to the year 2008 as we craft the largest selection of quality Napoleonic and American Civil War maps for play in the world. To play on one of our maps with other players you must all get the map file, unzip it and place it in the correct game directory.

We currently play two games. The first is the Napoleonic mod for AC/Fight Back by [HWK]GeXezoid called "European Warfare; Napoleonica". We have a vast collection of well researched maps to play with this game. (EW mod is free download here on site). The second game is AC/Divided Nation specializing in American Civil War. Our map collection is slowly growing for this game.

We fight these battles in real time, meaning that the units all function independently (given orders); advancing, firing, yelling, even falling as casualties, as if it were a real battle. The visual presentation is astounding and our battles play like epic movies. We do NOT play Single Player and instead promote Multiplayer battles, and strive to get as many as 6 players on one of our maps at once. This makes for epic drama on the field, and is the only way to enjoy our maps. Please drop by our Forum, introduce yourself, and get ready to join us for a truly memorable experience.
