Hey Marengo,

Good test yesterday, I am not sure what the background is to the battle so cant comment on capturing the spirit scenario etc... Scenerey is good and lots of possibilities with wide open spaces to manouvere.

French are probably a tad too strong for the Austrians, probably just need to reconsider the troop ratios in that I think there were too high a number of light line infantry for the french. And maybe, historical OOB permitting, add some Austrian Light line infantry.

Otherwise a great battle, really enjoyed it, highlight for me was your spirited counterattack by those landwher to recaputre the earthworks which ended in disaster and resulted in your troops being mercilesly cut down by my cavalry as they chased them over the field.

Looking forward to testing the newly balanced version.
